Hi, well it's time for another trip away from home. This time it's to someplace exciting. I'll be leaving for Guatemala on April 1st. It will be a trip to sketch, paint and shop for things for altered art. If any of you have any experience there, please tell me about it. Any ideas for shopping? what to buy? where to shop? I'm open to any and all advice.
I will be gone ten days so my Etsy shipments will be slightly delayed. Don't worry I will fill your orders as soon as I return and hopefully I will have some cool things to put in my store.
Keep watching. You never know what I'll find.

Back Home for awhile
I'm finally home for a little while and am adding new things in my Etsy store. It's getting harder to find great things at a good price but I have more treasures from my years of collecting. Keep watching the store. I'm sure you will find some things you need or just want.
I was at Art Unraveled in Phoenix, a wonderful art retreat. If you have time, visit the website at www.ArtUnravel.com and view some of the wonderful classes that were taught this year. You might want to add your name to the yahoo group so you will receive information about next year's retreat.

New wondrous things
I just got home from several estate sales and the flea market. Tulsa is fortunate to have a great flea market every Saturday with no junk, just good things, but sometines pretty high priced. But, occasionally I find something I can share with you. Today was a fairly good day so I will start listing items again on Monday, the 13th. Hopefully, you will think they're as much fun as I do. Please plan to drop into my store again and see what I have to offer.

Leaving once again
It seems like all I've done the summer is come and go. Sunday, Aug 5, I will be leaving again to teach at Art Unraveled. I'll be back the following Sunday, so shipping of orders will be delayed. If possible, I will try to check my email and answer and questions.

On the road again
Another road trip! This time I will be leaving tomorrow and will return on the 26th. I'll try to check my email and answer any questions, but won't be able to ship orders. So, until I return, please be patient and forgive any delays in shipping.

I'll be away
Tomorrow we'll be leaving for a reunion in Texas and won't return until Monday so all orders placed during that time will be slightly delayed. It should be interested to be on a lake that was closed only last week because of the flooding in that area and has just reopened. Texas and Oklahoma has certainly gotten enough rain lately. Now, when the sun shines, no one complains that its too hot. We just appreciate the nice weather. Anyway, when I return I'll be listing lots of new items so please come back and check them out.

Cleaning out
Hi, What a way to spend the Fourth of July, cleaning out my basement. Yuk. But I did find some cool things.
Do any of you need Scrabble boards or other game boards for a class? I have 15-20 Scrabble boards and would be happy to give them to you if you will pay the postage. I can't stand to waste anything or throw usable things away...as you can see by my Etsy store. Anyway, if you want them, contact me through my email, here on my blog and my Etsy store conversations.
Back to work....Happy Fourth!!!
